Sheila Hudson has been a freelance writer for more than 20 years. Her publications include: Chicken Soup for the Soul series (2 books), Chocolate for a Woman’s Soul series (8 books), The Book of Hope, God Allows U-Turns, Points North Magazine, From the Heart I and II, and The Expressive Heart series. She has been a correspondent to the Athens Banner Herald for several years and wrote “Sunday Drive” and “On the Road” columns. She is a columnist for Purple Pros and The Infinite Writer. Sheila has won awards for her nonfiction, humor, personal narrative, travel, inspiration, and picture books. Sheila has served as a Representative for ByLine Magazine, a Member of the Southeastern Writers Association since 1992, Assistant Editor 2001-2003; President 2004-2006; Registrar 2004-Present, and will serve as Co-President for 2011 & 2012. Sheila is founder of Bright Ideas, a ministry dedicated to communicate hope and inspiration.
